Seaweed is the subject of a national renaissance, increasingly being used for culinary and nutritional supplement purposes, fertilizers in gardens, plastic alternatives and to combat climate change. Rhode Island has hosted the production of kelp for over a decade via aquaculture, and is participating in the rediscovery of seaweed’s many merits, so join us to learn more.
