Weekly Landing Data

Each week you can check for species landing information. DEM’s Division of Marine Fisheries collects landing information from commercial fishermen in the Ocean State. These projections are subject to the “Rule of Three,” which requires that all data points be aggregated to include at minimum, three harvesters, three vessels, and three dealers to be considered non-confidential. 

Knowing what species are projected to be available each month ensures that we are eating with the seasons. The species with higher projections reflect what various fishers may be fishing for!
